How do I transfer Minecraft to another computer? Place the world folder(s) that you want to transfer onto a portable storage device, file-sharing software, or cloud computing service. After the files are ready to be transferred, place them in the new computer's saves folder and they will be available in your list of single-player worlds. In the original example I used a Win 7 pc going to a Win 10 laptop. The laptop no longer has Minecraft, so I can't test it again. It may be possible that the saves folder doesn't appear until a world is made, so if you don't have any worlds on the new computer, you could try to make one and see if the folder pops up after that. How do you download Minecraft if you already bought it on a different computer? Just log in to your account on the other computer and download it.
